Avenue Five Building (Office block)
Detailed description of project
This is a Nine (9) storey commercial building with two basements for parking. The building was designed as a framed structure with flat slabs. The most interesting design aspects of this project was the use of flat slabs at basement and ground floor levels in order to create more room for services. There is also a transfer frame at the second-floor level to address the challenge of columns needed in the basement but interfering with the office spaces on the upper floors.
