Detailed description of project

• Carried out structural appraisal of existing five Telkom – Orange concrete towers along Nairobi – Mombasa highway to assess their condition, determine the possibility of adding extra loads and to produce engineering drawings for the new supports. The sites comprised of: Itoroto, Mazeras, Nthawe, Taru, and Ntheke.
• New design and preparation of bills of quantities of a 50m high tower for Mambrui site in Malindi for Orange – Telkom.
• Structural appraisal comprising of: Preparation of engineering reports based on existing and pro-posed loadings, Preparation of fabrication details, Supervision of tower retrofitting, Preparation of as built drawings and report after retrofitting. The sites comprised of the following: Mulot, Ka-rengethe, Garsen, Witu, Milhoi, Lamu, Mambrui, Oleserewa, New Namanga Town, Old Namanga Road, South Hill, Loitoktok, Oldonyo Sabuk, Upatia, Mbuvi, Katumba, Madogo, Modikar, Mapara-sha, and Msumarini.
